Waking Night Supervisor
Moor House School & College is an outstanding residential and day school for children and young people with significant speech, language and communication needs. Situated close to a mainline station with direct links to London, the school is located in a beautiful rural setting on the Kent and Surrey borders. Moor House provides a differentiated mainstream curriculum to students aged from 7 to 19.
Waking Night Supervisor
Salary: Circa £17.51 per hour inclusive of night allowance uplift. Term Time only
Two nights (20 hours) per week (Hours 21:15 - 07:15 per night)
Responsible for providing the highest levels of care and support for our students as outlined in their Education and Healthcare Plans. You will be responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for all the students in our care, both individually and as part of a team with the overall objective of supporting students to achieve and maximise their potential.
Duties include:
- Co-ordinating a handover from Healthcare/ Senior staff at the commencement of each duty;
- Ensuring the building is secure;
- Carrying out regular checks on students throughout the night, as well as responding to alarm calls; This includes basic medical checks with any relevant training provided;
- Attendance at mandatory INSET/Training days as required.

A relevant NVQ level 3 qualification or the commitment to complete this is essential plus the commitment to undertake role specific training as required.
