Moor House Family Association (MFA)

The object of the Moor House Family Association (MFA) is to support Moor House School & College parents and carers to meet with each other, together with the wider school and college community, and to support parents and carers in organising and putting on interesting and entertaining events for parents and carers and the wider Moor House community to attend, which fall within the charitable objectives of Moor House. The MFA operates as an unincorporated association (a membership organisation).

Events and Fundraising

The MFA offers a variety of school and college community events from BBQs, movie nights, silent discos to family camp, as well as providing hampers for the Christmas Fair.

Although fundraising is not the primary function of the association, the MFA will use any excess funds raised through these events to support Moor House and advance the education, therapy and care of the students. However, there is also the potential to hold larger events dependent on a group of engaged parent volunteers.

It is recognised that there is also a strong wish by many parents to actively fundraise, this is welcomed and hugely valued by Moor House. For more information please contact Moor House Fundraising Officer Tia Melbourne.
