Pyjama Donations

On Friday 8th December, the School Council assisted the Children’s Hospital Pyjama charity by helping to pack up pyjama donations.

Hospital pyjamas are a UK-based charity (no.1185739), which collects donations of brand-new pyjamas, from the public, which are then donated to Hospitals, Hospices, School Hospital Teams and Women’s refuges up and down the country. These are then given to poorly or less fortunate children who are inpatients.

The children packed up 76 pairs of pyjamas thanks to the donations provided. The children had to follow instructions to ensure they were packed correctly. They then added a pair of hearts to each package. This meant the child could have a heart and their parent could have one too, so they always feel connected even when they are in hospital.
