Well done Alex!
Moor House runner Alex Kerr made light of atrocious conditions to complete the Virtual London Marathon on Sunday in an impressive 3 hours and 44 minutes.
Due to the pandemic Alex, like thousands of other across the country, took part in the first ever virtual running of the prestigious race, having completed over 1,000 miles during his prolonged training.
Cheered on by socially distanced supporters in pouring rain, he breezed through his solo run around Westerham, Limpsfield, Oxted and Hurst Green, including a run past the school.
Moor House Events & Community Fundraising Officer Tia Melbourne said: “Congratulation to Alex on a fantastic run.
“Throughout all the postponements, extra training, virtual race planning and then the horrendous weather on the day he took everything in his stride and has raised well in excess of his target which is fantastic.
“Well done and thank you Alex on behalf of everyone in the Moor House community. You’re a real Moor House hero!”
