Hitting the fairway in aid of Moor House
80 golfers hit the fairways at Tandridge Golf Club last week for our 75th Anniversary Charity Golf Day in aid of Moor House School & College.
Hosted by former Trustee and Governor Bob Perry, a packed day included an 18-hole competition followed by a delicious carvery lunch, raffle and auction.
Former England Cricket captain Mike Gatting was among those to attend and provided an informal Q&A after lunch.
On the course there was a high standard of play, including a hole-in-one from Rob Nobke, with the ‘Senior Surrey Cricketers’ (Duncan Southcott, Phil Traynor, Keith Tushingham and Stephen King) winning the team competition.
Proceeds from the day, which raised approx. £10,000, will be used to fully equip the physiotherapy room within our newly completed Therapy and Specialist Teaching hub.
Our thanks to Bob Perry, Tandridge Golf Club, the players, sponsors and everyone who supported the day so generously.
