Christmas Celebrations at Moor House
Students and staff at Moor House have celebrated Christmas with a special concert attended my members of the school and local community performed at St John’s Church in Hurst Green.
The annual event, which the students performed twice, featured steel band and choir performances, carols, a nativity and readings, with a collection taken in aid of Cancer Research UK.
Students have also been having festive fun over the last couple of weeks including a Christmas jumper day, Christmas lunches served by the Senior Management Team and trips to see Panto among the activities.
Each school day in December students have also been keeping an eye out for one of Santa’s Elves who has been hiding in various locations around the school. The first two students to find him each day have won a prize for themselves and charity with Newlife, Crisis UK and Made by Dyslexia among those chosen.
Students have also been getting crafty making decorations for a Moor House Tree which will be on display at the Oxted URC Christmas Tree Festival from 19th -21st December (4-7pm daily) on Bluehouse Lane, Oxted.
Merry Christmas from everyone at Moor House School & College.
