Join Us for Luke Thorogood’s Charity Gala Night!
Former Moor House student Luke Thorogood has taken the initiative to organise a Charity Gala Night in support of the school, inspired by the impact Moor House had on his life.
After attending our summer fete, Luke reflected on how the school helped him build confidence and life skills, and he wanted to give back.
Using his connections from his time working at Avisford Park Hotel, Arundel, Luke has put together an incredible evening on Saturday 24th May 2025, that promises to be both fun and meaningful.
Event Highlights:
- A welcome drink
- A delicious three-course meal with wine
- Casino tables
- Auction
- DJ and dancing
Parents, friends, neighbours, colleagues, and corporate tables are all welcome! Discounted hotel rooms are also available for the night.
To help us gauge interest, we’ve created an Expression of Interest Form. Please respond by 31st January 2025 to let us know if you'd like to attend.
Luke attended Moor House between 2002 and 2006 and credits the school with shaping his confidence and helping him be open about his experiences. Now a fully qualified hairdresser, Luke has travelled extensively to Canada and Australia. He enjoys staying active, sports, and having a good time.
Reflecting on how the school helped him, Luke said:
“Moor House didn’t just help me with speech and language but with everyday life. While heading back from the summer fete, I thought about organising a charity night at the hotel where I used to work—and here we are!”
We can’t wait for this exciting event and hope you’ll join us.
Stay tuned for more details and don’t forget to submit your interest!
